The UCRS/UCSL ONLINE Study Groups were developed to connect with individuals without a local group or church, and anyone who wants to enhance their understanding and application of spiritual principles. All are welcome!

Using simple chat-room technology, we connect with each other on a regular basis, in loving spiritual community. We use a selected text for discussion focus, and incorporate prayer and meditation into each session. It is helpful to read the text before the meeting, but not necessary, as we review the principles before each discussion. Bookmark this page for the link to the live group, and for announcements and group meeting agendas.

INSTRUCTIONS for first time Chat users:
1. Click on the Chat button (above)
2. WAIT! It may take a few minutes to load. You will know it is loaded when you see rectangular boxes that you can type your name and profile in.
3. Type in your first name, you do NOT need a profile
4. Click on the CHAT! button at the end of the name field to join the chat.
5. You will then see a chat window on your screen. The names of the people in the room already are listed on the right side of the window.
6. To enter the discussion, you click on the white field just under the bigger chat window and type your input, the press the Return key or Enter key when you are finished, and your comments will be displayed in the bigger chat window for others to see. Several shorter sentences work better than long ones.
7. A name will appear in the chat window before each person’s comments, but your own name will not show on your computer screen because your computer knows it is you. Everyone else will see your name before your comments.
8. Don’t worry about your typing ability, typos are common!
